Install necessary tools

Sharp razor blade, masking tape, window cleaner and clean cloth

Thoroughly clean the area where EVA imitation teak flooring is applied. We recommend using a cleaning agent that does not leave any residue. Use a clean cloth and glass cleaner to clean the installation area.

Before installing EVA imitation teak flooring, make sure that the installation area is completely dry

If there is any glue, grease, adhesive or other substances in the area where the EVA imitation teak floor is installed. You can use mineral spirits and then use acetone to remove them. Be sure to use glass cleaner as recommended above. Before installation, the installation surface must be completely dry.

If EVA imitation teak flooring is installed on a new ship, it is very important

All the release agent is completely removed from the surface of the boat. Place the EVA imitation teak floor to the exact position to be covered, and check again whether the placement position is correct. Using a razor, carefully cut the adhesive-backed paper liner from the middle position, being careful not to cut the EV A imitation teak floor.
